HUME: Any New Lockerbie Evidence Must Be ‘Watertight’

Commenting on the naming of two new suspects in the Lockerbie bombing, Liberal Democrat MSP for South Scotland Jim Hume has said:

“For 27 years the families of those killed in the Lockerbie disaster have lacked proper closure though the justice system.

“Now that these new suspects have been identified, the Libyan authorities must cooperate fully with US and Scottish prosecutors.

“But any new evidence gathered against these men, must be watertight for the families to have faith in the process.”
